In our daily lives, our hands touch door handles, shake hands, type on our keyboards – most of us carry out these actions unconsciously. How does bringing consciousness to touch change our experience of pleasure?
We can often get stuck in one way of thinking about touch, affection, and intimacy. In reality, there are many different forms of touch, each serving a different purpose and meeting a different need. The skin is an incredible organ and sends sensory messages regarding touch, pain, temperature and vibration. This workshop expands upon the understanding of touch in our (sexual) relationships, along with preferences and desires. Because sexuality encompasses far more than intercourse. We will dive deeper into the different dimensions of touch as well as playing with exercises and practices to explore types of touch in each dimension.
