Humiliation play can be liberating and healing. Don’t believe us? Come join in to find out.
Humiliation is understood as the emotion you feel when your status is lowered in front of others. Humiliation involves abasement of pride and dignity, and with it loss of status or standing. Shame, on the other hand, is a sort-of subset of humiliation; it is a painful feeling of humiliation or distress caused by the consciousness of “wrong” or “foolish” behavior. How and why somebody can be shamed is very personal and highly dependent on cultural background and life experiences. In this workshop we will explore the basics of humiliation play, how to get started, tips and tricks for making it hot, setting boundaries, safety precautions, and how to relish in this act with your partners or subs. You can stay completely anonymous in this workshop while still engaging in the chat and asking any questions you might have.
Note: This class is an intro class, so if you feel that you have explored humiliation play a lot in your life, this may not be the class for you! Accessibility note: this class is in English without a sign language interpreter for the moment.
